The Fashion Design and Technology students of 181 batch have arranged an exhibition in the occasion of their final dress submission course at BGMEA Univeristy of fashion and technology. Student’s creations includes variety of features such as, cultural revival through clothing, expression of gender neutrality, futuristic dresses and advance construction of the garments. In their presentation they showcase the original design illustrations, 2D flat designs and 3d visualization of the garments.
When creating a culminating body of original work, students showcased professionally executed versions of their original designs on multiple platforms, and communicating their conceptual ideas and design process. Fashion Design students draw on their knowledge of fashion design art, computer-aided design, journaling, and art portfolio. Each student’s particular vision matures and comes to life via the process of fashion design realization and visual communication.
This exhibition of students may encourage future dialogue between industry practitioner and academician about the implication of emerging themes and concepts in the fashion industry of Bangladesh.
